Goal
Design a platform that meets the needs of multiple stakeholders needs and improves the efficiency for resolving clients issues
Planning
Focusing on the customer, site specific, portal view I began on laying out the different site states of new, in-progress, active & inactive. We would then design the site states and flow from there.

Challenges
There was an immense amount of information that GTT would provide their clients which was difficult for users to quickly find information and understand what they are looking at.

Through user interviews and monitoring user traffic in the current experience it was determined that the most frequent use of the portal was to check their sites status and if there are any networks down, viewing network performance, updating tickets and checking order status.
Initial Design
First step was creating an initial layout that included the content areas which we determined were most valuable to the users. This was done to see if there is anything uanessacry or is missing.

Updating Navigation
To assist with the reduction of information being shown on the initial screen and improving the workflow efficiency the navigation was updated with an expanded & collapsed state.
A secondary navigation was also added for site specific pages to assist navigating information pertinent to that particular site

An circular icon is used for the AI assistant for quick access and an easy flyout action. The alerts were added to the global navigation instead of site specific. By making the AI assistant a flyout component the chat was replaced by a content block that displays important alerts, updates or notices for that specific site.
The user would then be able to reslove those issues and discover any additional or simialr issues from their other locations.
