In this study I analyze d ways in which the user is able to:
Save or Favorite Teams/Leagues
How those teams and/or leagues are presented throughout the app
Are they able to control the hierarchy of those selections in how they appear in the users feed or is that hierarchy based on other pre-determined rules?
Is there a separate tab to manage the teams or is that controlled in the users settings?
What are the interactions for adding or subtracting teams from the users "favorite" list
How are those interactions different from their native apps to mobile web

Are the users favorite teams prioritized over the sports that are currently in season. (Ex. The user is a cubs fan but it is NBA season. Does content related to the Cubs take priority over NBA content that is more current?)
Are the scores or results of a users favorite teams displayed in multiple areas in the app or just in the scores feed?

Are suggestions presented for the user on other teams/leagues to follow? If so, where do they appear?
How are the users able to control their notifications for those teams/leagues and how frequent are those notifications? Is there specific criteria that triggers the notifications (ex. Does the user get a notification anytime their team scores or only at certain points of the game/match?)

The Top Stories/Home Feed was designed to be manipulated by the user to fit their interests/needs.
If the user does not have an account or doesn’t have any topics selected the feed will default to the newest and current top stories.
If the user does follow any topics they are able to arrange the order of their feed by going to the My Topics section of the app where they can set their own hierarchy.
Other aspects we wanted to include were a simplified score section and also the local weather for if they are looking to attend any sporting events that day.
